First weekend of League play!

This past Saturday was full with league starting and Galaxy fundraiser. The younger girls had a fantastic game which they played with a lot of heart and desire. Their effort and smiles are so inspirational to me. God is amazing in providing such a great team. Currently our team only has 10 players due to injury and low numbers on our roster. Soccer played with 11 on the field and us only having 10 players the girls fought hard and never gave up. They played awesome! We were down 1-0 with the first half almost over when one of our girls had to come out because she got hurt. Down to 9 on the field against the opponents 11 they our girls kept fighting and tied up the game with a man down! Almost like a power play in hockey. So excited their confidence was boosted knowing that the number on the field does not effect their ability to score. Half time the score 1-1 we came back in the second half and scored again to take the lead 2-1. Fighting hard till the end the girls ended their first league game with a win!!!!!

After the game got to go for a great ride before the older girls game which I was definitely excited to do. A fun ride with some play rocks reminded me of riding in the summer back in the hills when I was growing up.

The older girls game did not go so well. We lost 5-0 and did not have the greatest game. Saturday evening got to go to the galaxy game where 13 hub friends came to have a great night and also helped to allow my young girls to be ball girls for selling the most tickets. They had such a great time. It was a lot of fun.
